Rich, when will you ever find out that ringcentral, vonage, and nextiva isn’t the only VOIP provider out there? There are so many cheap alternatives but look at you. Selling all these consumers overpriced systems for YOUR benefit. Horrible business model

Zoom provides no customer support, we just caught them lieing to cover for not providing support. Worst support ever come across, lost a bunch of customers, from not getting any support for porting over a main phone number. SMS dead in the water dont get it at all, zoom started claiming our 10dlc campaign was rejected due to use selling data even though our privacy policy explicitly states we dont. So we contacted TCR took awhile but finally got confirmation they hadnt even looked at it they had never sent zoom a rejection. This is how far they will go to avoid providing support. After we identified that they claimed it was rejected for other reasons. Seems they will give support only to largest or publicy visable customers. I would not suggest it at all.

honestly i blame sangoma they changed chan_sip to pjsip and change the entire platform in version 16 with barely document what each feature do or example on how to use them!

I had no contract and frontier charge me $50 for re stock fees I was with them for 5 years I had no contract they refused to lower my internet bill I try it for 2 weeks to lower my bill to get their new promotion plan they having online and they told me it’s for new customers only Only when i called to disconnect my service they try to give me discount but it was too late because I already had new internet service with Xfinity for $25 per month My contract expired with frontier over a year ago and they started to raise my price little by little Beware

I want a zoom phone plan that lets me keep my US number and send and receive occasional texts and calls as I travel the world full time. I will get local data in each country, I just need to keep my cell number. Would that be possible with zoom? Will zoom work in all countries? (Can I receive calls and texts when in various countries?) I am not expecting to make calls or send texts.

So as a construction company who I do NOT Text nor do campaigns - why am I having to be compliant and pay for it? I don't sell anything but my building talent.

I am trying to ditch my cell phone altogether and port my number to a voip (and then get a data plan for my laptop). Would you recommend any of these for that goal?

The screens are the same 11:30 Poly vvx250 and the Nextiva X-835, both 2.8" screens. The 835 just seems smaller due to the phone itself being bigger. Also 13:41 Turning the stand around will give you the 2nd height/angle adjustment you were wanting.

Pretty solid phone, I picked up a few of these on the used market for a Google Voice for Business project, they work pretty well there and with Nextiva from what I've seen.

Nextiva's mobile app is pretty lacking and often drops calls and not just during a wifi to cellular handoff. Nextiva chat support I've heard is out of Slovenia and it pretty hit or miss from my experience. You'll be lucky to get a problem solved in say 30 mins but it could take 2+ hours. Nextiva support is primarily chat or phone call they don't seem to offer an email support option or they carefully hide it behind their semi working salesforce support portal. The MacOS desktop NextivaOne getting into the settings it often just won't do it and you'll need to go in from the browser interface. RingCentral you have to be careful with a trial or POC with them because the way they work if it they check all the boxes during the POC then you are locked into going into production. So it you are just wanting to kick the tires so to speak, keep that in mind with RingCentral.

Legend and 5200 also have plastic problems, they are all torn in half. I have 4 legends and 2 5200s. They are all torn in the middle and the sound does not travel when talking. There are many complaints. But there is no solution

Cisco 8800 and 7800 series phones come in 3 flavours. The normal (enterprise) models which only work with Cisco Call Manager, MPP(multi-platform) which works with specific providers, and the 3PCC(3rd party call control) which works with virtually any system. Keep in mind the full model numbers when purchasing. The models are indicated with a “MPP” or “3PCC” at the end, for models that don’t require Cisco Unified Communications Manager (aka, Call Manager).

I called vonage yesterday, and im wondering if their sakes specialists are from another country. I was told I'd get onboarded rightbaway and would get my phone number setup within 24-48 hours. Also inwas told my intro price would be applicable upon renewal. As soon as i agreed to the terms, all of a sudden no onboarding was possible and they indicated they would call me back. They never called me back, and the contract they emailed me had a higher price. I emailed them multiple times and called the number with nobody picking up. Sadly im going to have to report them as fraudulent to my payment method and block them.

Can I send bulk texts?

I’m not sure how Fusion Connect didn’t make the list, and they, by far, don’t stop at VoIP
